This is a very special one. The Psilocybe cubensis Transkei is a cubensis strain from South Africa, the first we know of that originates from the African continent. The original mushrooms were collected in January 2002 in Transkei, in the Wild Coast region of South Africa. The mushrooms were growing directly on dung in the shade of trees. Cultivation is pretty much the same as with other cubensis strains.
