Psilocybe Cubensis “Treasure Coast”, as the name states, was found in the gulf coast of southern Florida. It is considered an easy cubensis to grow since it is a fast coloniser, making it a good strain for beginners.
When grown outdoors you can find it in bovine and equine dung and enriched soils. It grows small to medium size mushrooms with a light caramel color.
Psilocybe Cubensis shows a different shape than the other cubensis and grows large flushes in dense clusters. It is common to find some albinos in the middle of these clusters. The gills are loaded with spores and it's common to see them growing from each other as if they only had one long stem.
The optimal temperature for colonisation is between 28-30 degrees celsius and fruiting between 23 – 24 degrees celsius.
